Our April blog has now landed - just in time for Easter reading!
We are already entering the end of our 5th week of trading here at our new/ old home on Leeds Road and what an incredible journey it has been so far.
Business has certainly exceeded all expectations and projections and we are blown away by the support we have received from clients both old and new, so here's a massive THANK-YOU to every single one of you, you're all amazing!!!
It has been a real pleasure to welcome international hoteliers to our agency this month including Armani Milan, Puente Romano/ Nobu Marbella, Evian Resort France, and Amara/ Elysium Cyprus. We have also received visits from some of our favourite tour operator contacts such as Exsus Travel, If Only, North America Travel Service, Kirker Holidays, Inside Asia/ Japan, and Prestige Holidays.
It's certainly been a busy month of networking and maintaining existing relationships so we can make sure you guys are VIP'd and well looked after on your travels!
Our Easter departures have seen clients jet away to Bermuda, the Canary Islands, Cyprus, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean, Australia, the Middle East, Malaysia and even the Masters in Augusta to name but a few. It's such a pleasure to be sending you all away on your dream holidays and we can't wait to hear all about your adventures on your return.
Travel is certainly starting to see the impact of the fuel crisis, so anybody that is thinking of going away this summer or even later in the year should plan and book now in order to secure the deal and lock-in the costs before we see further increases later on in the year.
Airport congestion continues to be a major problem at our UK airports and even our favourite Yorkshire airport LBA has been suffering immensely as a result of insufficient security staffing. Our advice to all travellers is to please plan ahead, check-in as soon as possible, and if available purchase fast track well in advance of travel - all of these tips will help make the journey a little easier for all concerned.
Finally. We will close for the Easter bank holiday at 5pm on Thursday 14th April and re-emerge fat, happy, and rested on Tuesday 19th April when we will resume normal working hours. As always, should you need us, we will readily be available throughout the Easter holiday via text, Whatsapp, Messenger, or the good old fashioned 'dog and bone.'
Wishing you all a lovely Easter and we very much look forward to seeing you on the other side!
The TJ x
