And just like that, it's festive time once more!
It's been 6 months already since our last newsletter...seriously though, where has the time gone?!
We're finishing yet another year, on an all time high, with both record breaking trading and record amounts of passengers travelling in 2023. Putting it simply, we couldn't be happier and are ever so grateful for your loyalty and support! THANK YOU!!!
As many of you are away for Christmas and New Year on your lovely holidays booked through The Travel Journal, we have once again decided to opt out of sending Christmas cards and have instead donated £250.00 to the amazing local charity 'Yorkshire Aid Convoy'.
Christmas can often be a time to reflect and this year we have been extremely fortunate to travel like the pre-pandemic times! Our travels this year have taken us to Lake Como (Grand Hotel Tremezzo & Passalacqua), Valletta, IKOS Andalusia, The Maldives (Ozen Maadhoo), Mykonos (Cali Mykonos), Gran Canaria, a 'shakedown' voyage onboard the brand new Explora I by Explora Journeys, and last but not least, we will be heading back to our beloved Barbados to celebrate the new year and see in 2024! Our years of first-hand knowledge and experience will always be one of our top trump cards, and afterall, there's nothing better than a personal recommendation from yours truly is there?!
In other news. Did you know The Travel Journal is now proudly the highest ranked 5* independent high street travel agency in Harrogate on Google...chuffed, would be an understatement. PROUD. Yes!
Our agency will be closing for the festive break from the close of business on Friday 22nd December until Thursday 04th January (inclusive) so, we would like to take this moment to wish every single one of our clients and subscribers a very merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy 2024.
We very much look forward to welcoming you into the agency in the new year, recharged, refreshed, and ready for the busiest booking season of the year.
