Hello from 63 Leeds Road, Harrogate!
What an incredible first week we have had at our new/old home on Leeds Road. We've had so many old and new faces popping in to say hello, some of which we haven't seen since way back in 2019...or even longer!
We are truly overwhelmed with all your support, well wishes, and compliments. On top of this your extremely thoughtful cards and gifts have been a real treat and we certainly intend on drinking some of the lovely gifted champagne when we sign-off for the weekend later today....THANK YOU!!!
Whilst Ben had worked in the exact shop for 15yrs previous we had forgotten just how busy the Leeds Road parade of shops are. Footfall in our first week has been phenomenal...our walk-in business in our first week alone has been more than what we had in 18 months at our previous location on the Montpellier and that's just in one week of trading!!!
We also have some other BIG NEWS to share. During the move we became first-time puppy parents! The Travel Journal now has a little helper, please say hello to Louis the French Bulldog (15 weeks old.) He's such a loving and affectionate little pup and loves meeting new people and other dogs. We already can't imagine life without him and he's quickly fitting in to the routine of the agency and his daily commute...he's a little gem!
For those who can't resist a puppy cuddle/ kiss then Louis will be in the agency most days 'working' (but mostly chewing) in the back office, so just ask to see him and we will bring him out to meet you when you're next in the agency ; )
Travelling just became a hell of a lot easier with the removal of the UK passenger locator forms from 4am on 18th March (yesterday) so there's never been a better time to travel. It's time to dust off those passports and get reacquainted with travelling once again...after all, there's a whole world out there just waiting to be explored!
Our agency hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 9am - 3pm. If you haven't been to see the transformation yet then we very much look forward to seeing you all very soon.
